Why do security systems have contracts?

Contracts are how Apex, as a security provider, can provide such tremendous rates on hardware, while protecting your investment with such a great warranty.

Saving you money on future hardware, service fees, and maintenance expenses is important to us.

In our experience, one of the most frustrating experiences a customer can have is hearing, “we’re sorry, that’s not covered…”.

Contracts ensure we’re all protected properly.

How much does a security system typically cost?

If we could provide an easy answer we certainly would! Questions to consider:

There are so many systems and technologies and diverse needs at play that pricing can vary widely.

How much does installation cost?

The cost of your installation depends on the amount of devices and equipment involved in your installation. The amount of time and cost of installing a 1,400 sq ft house and a 5,000 sq ft house is considerably different. Typically, installation costs range between $200-400 and $0 installation promotions are often available for qualifying homeowners.

How much is monitoring monthly?

The range in monitoring price can be from $24.99-$79.99 per month.

Monitoring pricing depends on the levels of monitoring that you receive, as well as the types of automated devices and surveillance equipment included. The number of connected devices your home has will also contribute to the monitoring rate.

Can you use the previous equipment installed or do I have to purchase all new equipment?

If the equipment installed in your house is what is needed to provide the level of home security your family desires, then absolutely! Depending on the time of day, and technician availability, we can often provide same day installation. Most importantly, we want to do the job right and have the equipment that’s best available for protecting your home. This might mean a special equipment order. We’d rather get it done right than rush.

Once installation is complete, our friendly technicians will perform a Quality Assurance test with the monitoring station to ensure the installation has been completed successfully. At this point, we wil teach you how to utilize your new system and answer any questions you may have.

Apex will always be available for service requests and for any smart home questions you have in the future.
